Nghe An licenses 39 projects worth $561 mln in 1H

Central Nghe An province licensed 39 investment projects in the first half of this year, as of June 15, with a total registered capital of over VND14.29 trillion ($561 million), a 1.14-fold increase year-on-year in value.

Of which, there are 3 FDI projects worth $48 million.

They include many major projects such as Nghi Lien urban area with an estimated investment capital of VND6.29 trillion ($247 million); Con Bau urban and trade area, VND2 trillion ($78.5 million); and a FDI project building battery production plant, $40 million.

The province also allowed 77 projects to increase capital by more than VND2.6 trillion ($103 million) in total.

Nghe An disbursed nearly VND50 trillion ($1.96 billion) worth of investment capital in the first half of the year, up 23.57% year-on-year. Of which, disbursement of FDI capital is estimated at over VND12 trillion ($47.1 million), a five-fold rise compared to the same period last year.
