Nghe An province attracts $1.43 billion of investment in 10M
FDI projects contributing $751 million.
Central Nghe An province attracted investment capital worth over VND36.3 trillion ($1.43 billion) in the first ten months of 2024, including $751 million in FDI.
During the period, the province granted investment licenses to 67 projects with a total registered capital of over VND19.1 trillion ($750 million).
Some 35 existing projects were permitted to increase investment capital by a total of over VND17.2 trillion ($675 million).
The province also recorded positive growth in other economic indicators, including a year-on-year growth of 10.81% in the index of industrial production.
Total export revenue reached $2.638 billion, up 32.01% compared to the same period last year.
Total retail sales of consumer goods and services are estimated at more than VND126.5 trillion ($4.96 billion), a year-on-year increase of 27.8%.
More than 1,800 new enterprises were established in the province in the ten-month period with a total registered capital of over VND19.8 trillion ($778 million), up 8.26% year-on-year in volume and 28.29% in value.
