Over 103,000 social houses complete as of July 15

Some 692 social housing projects with 633,559 apartments have been implemented as of July 15 this year, according to the Ministry of Construction.

Of which, 146 projects were complete, supplying 103,717 units; 124 projects started construction with 111,622 units; and 422 other projects have got investment policy approval with 418,220 units.

As of 2025, the number of social housing projects that were complete, under construction, and have investment policy approved accounted for nearly 60% of the target set by the social housing development plan by 2030.

In 2023, the Government approved a project to build at least 1 million social houses for low-income earners and workers in industrial parks in the 2021-2030 period.
