Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has instructed Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha to address any obstacles related to the investment in transportation routes connecting to Long Thanh Airport.

The goal is for these projects to be completed in sync with the Long Thanh Airport project (phase 1) by December 31, 2025.

For the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway project, the Government leader requires relevant agencies to complete the procedures for approving the adjustment of the investment policy and focus on construction. The VND29.6 trillion (more than $1.16 billion) project is now set to be completed in line with the progress of the Long Thanh Airport project (phase 1) by the end of 2025, instead of the initially expected date of September 30, 2025.

For the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway project, he requested the Ministry of Transport to coordinate with Dong Nai and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces to expedite construction, aiming for substantial completion by 2025 and operational by 2026.

Regarding the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh Expressway expansion project, it needs to be completed in line with the progress of Long Thanh Airport (before December 31, 2025).

For the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project, the People's Committees of Ho Chi Minh City, and Dong Nai, Binh Duong, and Long An provinces, are required to accelerate more vigorously the construction, aiming for substantial completion by 2025 and operational by 2026.

Furthermore, for the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project, the PM has assigned relevant parties to appraise the pre-feasibility study report and submit it to the National Assembly for investment policy approval during its February 2025 session.

For the railway projects, the Ministry of Transport is required to research and report to the Prime Minister in the first quarter of 2025, in order  to submit  to the National Assembly for investment policy decisions in 2025.
