Tan Son Nhat airport expects to serve 4 mln passengers during Tet

On average, the airport will operate 800 - 900 flights daily.

Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City is expected to accommodate 4 million passengers during the upcoming 2025 Lunar New Year (Tet) Festival.

Accordingly, from January 14 (the 15th day of the last month of the Year of the Dragon) to February 12 (the 15th day of the first month of the Year of the Snake), the airport will serve 1.5 million international passengers and 2.5 million domestic travellers.

On average, the airport will operate 800 - 900 flights daily. There will be as many as 970 flights per day on the busiest days of the year.

The number of flights and passengers is forecast to increase 6.25% and 5.36% year-on-year, respectively, during the period.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) has requested airlines to build plans to increase flights and arrange night flights to meet the travel needs of people during Tet.
