Thanh Hoa province plans eco-urban area along Ma River
The area will integrate ecotourism with entertainment services while preserving and promoting traditional historical and cultural values.
Central Thanh Hoa province has unveiled a plan to develop a 2,807-ha eco-urban area along the Ma River in Thanh Hoa City.
The plan, outlined in Decision No 3960/QD-UBND, dated October 3, 2024, of the provincial People's Committee, encompasses land in Dong Linh and Thieu Khanh wards, Thieu Van commune, and portions of Ham Rong, Dong Cuong, and Thieu Duong wards.
Under the The eco-urban area will integrate ecotourism with entertainment services while preserving and promoting traditional historical and cultural values. The population is expected to increase from 40,000 to 110,000 by 2040.
Approximately 65.6% of the total area will be allocated to housing, public works, parks, and transportation infrastructure. The development will prioritize a balanced approach between residential areas and commercial and industrial zones.
Thanh Hoa province plans to invest in new urban areas, schools, medical facilities, and technical infrastructure.
The provincial People's Committee pledges to create a favorable environment for investors in residential, industrial, and service sectors.
