The People's Committee of Ha Tinh city in the central province of the same name has submitted a proposal to the provincial People's Committee for appraisal and approval of terrain survey and sub-zoning plan for the Northern Urban Area of the city.
According to the proposal, the designated planning area is located in Nguyen Du Ward, covering approximately 160.84 ha. This northern gateway urban area will host a combination of administrative agencies, new construction projects, and urban redevelopment initiatives. The development aims to establish a modern and cohesive social and technical infrastructure system to support Ha Tinh city's growth.
The terrain survey and sub-zoning plan will serve to concretize the General Planning of Ha Tinh city and its surrounding areas through to 2030, with a vision extending to 2050.
Recently, the Prime Minister has recognized the expanded Ha Tinh city as meeting the criteria for a Class II city. The expanded city now encompasses the entire administrative boundaries of the former city of Ha Tinh and parts of nearby Thach Ha, Loc Ha, and Cam Xuyen districts, with a natural area totaling 220 sq.km.
