Vietjet to open HCMC-Sydney flights

Tickets on direct flights connecting two major cities selling at attractive prices.

Vietjet Air will open a direct route connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Sydney and offer attractive ticket prices, giving more choice to passengers to explore the land of the kangaroo.

The service will start from April 12, with a frequency of six flights a week.

Flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Sydney will take off every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 7.30pm and land at 7.20 am (local times). Return flights will leave every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday at 10.15am and land at 4.30pm (local times).

The new route follows the opening of direct Ho Chi Minh City - Melbourne flights on January 12.

Vietjet is offering tens of thousands of promotional tickets from VND0 (excluding taxes and fees) for passengers during the “golden week” from February 14 to February 20, applicable to flights connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Melbourne or Sydney, available at www.vietjetair.com and the Vietjet Air mobile app, with a flexible flight period from now to October 29.

Customers who register to become members of the Vietjet SkyJoy loyalty program and purchase tickets can receive up to 3,300 SkyPoints (terms and conditions apply) on the SkyJoy app, which can be redeemed for Vietjet vouchers and gifts from more than 250 popular food, shopping, and tourism brands in Vietnam.

From now to March 15, meanwhile, passengers will receive an additional VND100,000 ($4.25) (terms and conditions apply) e-voucher when booking tickets and paying at evoucher.vietjetair.com.
