Ha Tinh calls for investment in $90 mln social housing project

The Construction Department of the central province of Ha Tinh is calling for investors to build a social housing project with an estimated investment capital of over VND2.38 trillion ($90.49 million).

The project will cover around 6.2 ha in the province's Tran Phu ward.

It will consist of five 15-storey social buildings with around 1,520 units and one 15-storey commercial building with 273 units.

The project will provide houses for over 7,000 people, mainly low-income earners and workers.

Construction of the project is part of the province’s plan to implement the Government program on developing 1 million social houses for low-income owners and workers at industrial parks.

The province targets to complete 3,700 social houses by 2030. Of which, 1,500 social houses are expected for completion in the 2021-2025 period.
