Industrial land lease prices in northern region keep upward trend

Industrial land lease prices in Vietnam’s northern region kept increasing with the average price reaching $139 per sq m per term in the second quarter of the year, up 3.8% compared to the same period of 2024.

The amount of absorption area  in tier 1 markets of the northern region reached nearly 260 ha in the first six months of the year.

The average occupancy rate in tier 1 markets is estimated at 80.4% by the end of the second quarter, increasing 1.9 percentage point year-on-year.

For ready-built warehouses, the average occupancy rate was 82.7%, down 1 percentage point quarter-on-quarter.

The average rental price for ready-built warehouses and factories reached $4.7 – $4.9 per sq m per month, surging 1.8% year-on-year.
