Hai Duong province to allocate $126 mln for socio-economic projects
Part of the fund to be invested in building bridge spanning Thai Binh river and approach road.
Northern Hai Duong province will allocate over VND3.2 trillion ($126 million) from the provincial budget to implement some key public investment projects in the 2024-2027 periods, according to the provincial People’s Committee.
As planned, the province will invest over VND1.22 trillion ($48.2 million) in the construction of a bridge spanning Thai Binh river and an approach road as part of the Ring Road No.1 that will connect Hai Duong city to other districts; and in the expansion of its urban space.
Meanwhile, over VND400 billion ($15.8 million) will be invested in building some roads approving the National Highway No.5 in Kim Thanh district to help reduce traffic accidents.
The fund will also be used to complete the land data system to improve administrative reforms, modernize the local communications system, build labor data system and invest in other socio-economic works.
