The People's Council of the south-central coastal province of Khanh Hoa recently passed a resolution on issuing a list of land plots for bidding to select investors to implement land-use projects in the province, according to a report from Radio the Voice of Vietnam.

Accordingly, a land plot spanning over 20,000 sq.m in My Gia Urban Area, Vinh Thai Commune, approximately 3km west of Nha Trang city center, has been allocated for the projected Nha Trang International General Hospital.

The project aims to build a high-tech, advanced general hospital with key specialties: stroke, cardiology, and early cancer screening, meeting international standards; providing inpatient and outpatient treatment, and participating in health insurance medical treatment.

The outpatient department capacity will have a minimum scale to serve 1,000-1,500 patients/day. The inpatient capacity, focusing on stroke and cardiovascular care, will meet the emergency intervention needs for stroke and cardiovascular emergencies for the population, with a minimum scale of 200 beds.

The project also aims to serve the inter-regional area of the South Central Coastal and Central Highlands Region, with Khanh Hoa as the center, meeting the needs of emergency stroke and cardiovascular interventions for the people in the region.

At the same time, it has the potential to build and develop a stroke emergency network for provinces in the South Central Coast and Central Highlands region, with a high-tech application center and a digital healthcare model to be formed. In addition to medical examination and treatment, it will also have the functions of training medical staff and conducting scientific research in medicine.
