Phu Yen plans to build 1,000-ha IP

South-central Phu Yen province plans to build Hoa Tam Industrial Park (IP) in South Phu Yen Economic Zone with an estimated area of 1.080 ha.

The establishment of the IP is part of the provincial planning in the 2021-2030 period, with a vision towards 2050.

The IP is expected to generate jobs for 40,000 workers.

The province also plans to establish some other IPs by 2030, including a high-tech IP, covering 252 ha; West Hoa Xuan IP with a total area of 67 ha; East Hoa Xuan IP, covering 100 ha; and 100-ha Hoa Thanh IP.

These IPs will give priority to developing industries with competitive advantages such as oil refinery, energy, chemicals, agro-forestry and seafood processing, mechanics and manufacturing, and industries relating to sea-based economy and high-tech industries.
