PM asks to complete T3 project of Tan Son Nhat airport in April, 2025
About 55% of the workload has been done.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has requested relevant ministries and agencies to accelerate construction of Terminal T3 of Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City to open the terminal on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification (April 30) in 2025.
He made the instruction while examining the construction site on August 10, the Government News has reported.
PM Chinh asked the investor to mobilize manpower of the relevant sides and coordinate with authorities to work around the clock to ensure the terminal meets quality, technical, aesthetic, safety, and environmental standards while preventing wastefulness and negative phenomena in order to put the project into operation on schedule.
T3 terminal is designed to handle domestic flights and welcome up to 20 million passengers a year.
The project is invested with nearly VND11 trillion ($434 million) by the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV).
About 55% of the workload has been done, with 100% of raw construction already completed.
