South-central Binh Dinh province to build road connecting IP with North-South expressway

The Chairman of the People’s Committee of south-central Binh Dinh province has approved the investment policy for a project building a road connecting Phu My Industrial Park and Phy My port to the North-South Expressway that runs through the province.

The road has a total length of 16.37km and a roadbed width of 22m, allowing a maximum speed of 80 kph.

Total investment capital is estimated at over VND2.11 trillion ($82.4 million).

Construction is scheduled for 2025-2029.

The road will be an important infrastructure for Binh Dinh to develop Phu My area into an industrial and logistics center.

On February 18 this year, the provincial People's Committee licensed Phu My Investment Group to implement the first phase of Phu My Industrial Park project which covers 436.87 ha. Total investment capital is estimated at VND4.569 trillion ($177 million).
