Australia delays issuing conclusion on dumping case
The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission (ADC) has extended the timeframe to issue a Final Investigation Conclusion for an anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigation into Vietnamese precision steel pipes and tubes. The Conclusion will now be issued on August 27. The ADC issued a preliminary conclusion on June 1 stating that there is no evidence of differences between the price of raw materials in Vietnam and other countries and no evidence of government influence distorting normal value. Therefore, it concluded that a Particular Market Situation (PMS) does not exist in Vietnam. It also stated that the dumping margins of all Vietnamese enterprises under investigation were negative, and that those enterprises did not receive subsidies from the government or that subsidies were negligible.
