On the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day on October 13, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent an open letter to businesses around the country. The letter stated that the Vietnamese Government and relevant agencies will step up institutional reform, remove difficulties and obstacles, mobilize resources, and reform administrative procedures, among other measures, to create an open and equal business environment for business development and international integration for entrepreneurs.

The Delta variant of Covid-19 has dealt a severe blow to the recovery efforts of Vietnam’s aviation sector. Airlines are struggling to maintain liquidity and are borrowing additional working capital to overcome the difficulties.
