In 2024, bilateral trade turnover between Vietnam and China reached $205.2 billion, marking a record high for two-way trade.

The two sides reached the agreement during the talks between Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his Swedish counterpart in Stockholm on June 13.

This is the province's first tourist seaport, marking a significant step in developing infrastructure for sea and island tourism, particularly for the Cua Viet – Con Co route.

The terminal has designed capacity of 100,000 tons of cargo per year by 2030.

This alignment aims to effectively utilize land and infrastructure resources and develop the mountain into a unique tourism destination.

The event took place as part of Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauséda’s official visit to Vietnam.
