The showcased items include handbags, leather wallets, footwear, watches, perfumes, and cosmetics, many of which bear packaging, logos, and labels that infringe on well-known trademarks.

More than 300 counterfeit and infringing products seized during a month-long crackdown on trade fraud, counterfeiting, and intellectual property violations across major cities and provinces—including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Quang Ninh—are now on public display at an exhibition in Hanoi.

The exhibition aims to raise consumer awareness and help the public better identify counterfeit goods.

The showcased items include handbags, leather wallets, footwear, watches, perfumes, and cosmetics, many of which bear packaging, logos, and labels that infringe on well-known trademarks.

Authorities have warned that certain products, especially low-quality perfumes and cosmetics of unknown origin, may pose serious risks to consumer health.

The exhibition reveals a wide array of highly sophisticated counterfeits, some nearly indistinguishable from genuine products. These include replicas of renowned brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior, YSL, Rolex, Nike, and Adidas. Notable items seized include Hermès handbags, Rolex and Hublot watches, Chanel and Gentle Monster eyewear, and Gucci belts, confiscated at locations such as Saigon Square Trade Center in Ho Chi Minh City, tourist streets in Da Nang, and cosmetic shops in Quang Ninh.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Deputy Director of the Department of Domestic Market Development and Management, market surveillance forces have conducted nearly 3,900 inspections nationwide during the campaign, detecting and processing over 3,200 violation cases. The total value of fines and seized goods exceeds VND60 billion ($2.3 million).
