Vietnam's largest waste power plant comes into operation
The Soc Son Waste Power Plant in Hanoi comes into operation today, January 20, and is the second-largest in the world and the largest in Vietnam. It has total investment of VND7 trillion ($308.6 million) and uses European waste incineration technology, with a capacity of burning 4,000 tons each day. The plant will process about 70 per cent of Hanoi’s waste.
