Bach Dang 2 Bridge opens, connecting Binh Duong and Dong Nai
The project will enhance economic linkages, trade exchange, and goods transportation between the two southern localities.
The Bach Dang 2 Bridge, connecting the southern provinces of Binh Duong and Dong Nai, was officially inaugurated on September 23 after five years of construction.
The four-lane bridge, spanning 945.81 m across the Dong Nai River, including approaching roads, marks a significant milestone in the development of transportation infrastructure in the South. It connects Tan Uyen Town in Binh Duong province with Vinh Cuu district in Dong Nai province, promising to benefit the socio-economic development of the region.
The project, with a total investment of nearly VND491 billion (nearly $20 million) will facilitate travel between the two localities and enhance economic linkages, trade exchange, and goods transportation.
On the same day, Binh Duong province also inaugurated the key traffic route Bac Tan Uyen – Phu Giao – Bau Bang, stretching 50 km with six lanes. This project, costing over VND5.256 trillion ($212 million), is a crucial component of the traffic route system in Binh Duong and neighboring areas.
The improved infrastructure will enable Binh Duong province to achieve its goal of becoming one of the most dynamic and modern localities in Vietnam.
