The country’s 5G development strategy has been translated into national digital technology and infrastructure policies with a target of an average internet speed of 100 Mbps by 2025 and full nationwide 5G coverage by 2030.
The City People's Committee has assigned local departments and agencies to research and develop policies to support investors with the construction of technical and social infrastructure within the Free Trade Zone.
One of the projects is the tidal flood control initiative, often dubbed the "VND10 trillion anti-flooding super-project" (over $382 million), designed to protect a 570-sq.km area from tidal surges.
Representing sectors from agri-food and seafood to construction materials and household goods, the businesses aimed to promote Vietnamese products and forge international partnerships.
