Vietnam possesses strong geo-economic advantages that promote production, exports, and logistics services. Trade overall as well as logistics are gaining the conditions needed to continue to grow faster and more sustainably.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment has issued Circular No. 12/2021/TT-BKHDT with stipulations on the logistics statistical indicator system, which includes a list of 63 statistical indicators regarding infrastructure, means of transport, and human resources. The Circular takes effect from March 1.

The Vinh Phuc ICD Logistics Center, construction of which began on December 24, will be the first “superport” within a smart logistics network in the ASEAN region, on an area of 83 ha and with total investment of VND3.9 trillion ($170.7 million).
