Switzerland has shipped 30 ventilators, 500,000 antigen tests, and 300,000 surgical masks worth a total of CHF4.9 million ($5.32 million) to help Vietnam as it continues to fight Covid-19.
The Swiss Government will provide support of CHF70 million ($80 million) to Vietnam in the 2021-2024 period to improve the country’s business environment and the competitiveness of its private sector.
Switzerland has affirmed it will continue to provide ODA to Vietnam in the 2021-2024 period in the fields of human resource training, urban development, poverty alleviation, and sustainable development. The country will also provide 500,000 Covid test kits, 300,000 face masks, 30 ventilators, and other medical equipment and supplies. The two countries will focus on cooperation in sustainable development, modern governance, human resources training, innovation, and digital transformation.
