The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has issued Decision No. 116/NHNN-QD announcing a list of legal documents in the banking sector that have expired or have ceased to be in effect, in all of or in part of its field of management. Nineteen documents are completely invalidated and 29 partially invalidated.

The credit risk in all fields rose at a slower rate in the first half of 2021 compared to the second half of 2020, according to the results of a credit trend survey of credit institutions conducted by the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV). Prime Minister has approved Decision no. 942/QĐ-TTg which assigned State Bank of Vietnam to research, develop and test e-money using blockchain technology.
