At the national online conference between the Government and local authorities held on July 3, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stressed that Vietnam’s socio-economic situation has shown steady improvement in the first half of 2025.
The system also includes a mechanism that allows for the deployment of new ideas, technologies, and policies in a controlled environment for evaluation before widespread application.
Under the Government’s Decree No. 168/2025/ND-CP that took effect on July 1, the Business Registration Agency and other agencies are forbidden to cause trouble for organizations and individuals while receiving dossiers and handling business registration procedures.
Measures including development of institutions that ensure transparency, reduce administrative procedures, and eliminate unnecessary steps that cause inconvenience or bottlenecks for businesses.
The objective is to promote socio-economic development while avoiding the waste of assets and resources belonging to the State, businesses, citizens, and society.
At the first meeting of the steering committee for key national railway projects, PM Pham Minh Chinh called for formation of major corporations, including private ones, to drive railway industry development.
The program targets to cut and simplify at least 30% of unnecessary investment conditions, and at least 30% of time required for processing administrative procedures, and reduce compliance costs by 30% in 2025.
