At the national online conference between the Government and local authorities held on July 3, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stressed that Vietnam’s socio-economic situation has shown steady improvement in the first half of 2025.
The system also includes a mechanism that allows for the deployment of new ideas, technologies, and policies in a controlled environment for evaluation before widespread application.
At a policy forum on March 14, PM Pham Minh Chinh laid stress on Vietnam’s commitment to rapid and sustainable growth driven by science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
Under a proposal from the Government, about one-third of the responsibilities currently handled by district-level administrations will be transferred to provincial authorities, while decentralizing the remaining two-thirds to the commune-level administrations.
