Ninh Binh to build thousands of social housing units in 2023-2025
271,800 sq m of social housing floor space is expected to be completed in the period.
Northern Ninh Binh province will strive to build thousands of social housing units for low-income earners and workers in the 2023-2025 period.
Under the province’s housing development plan for 2021-2025, it targets completing 271,800 sq m of social housing floor space in 2023-2025.
This includes over 197,350 sq m of social housing projects now being implemented, with the remainder built in new projects that are now calling for investors.
Specifically, the province is implementing a social housing project for low-income earners in Ninh Binh city on 1.36 ha and with 335 apartments.
It is also calling for investors to build a social housing project for workers at the Gian Khau Industrial Park in Gia Vien district, on a total area of 4.96 ha. Once completed, the project will supply 2,018 apartments and 94 stand-alone houses.
