Northern Bac Ninh province has only three industrial parks with housing for workers, meeting just 10-15 per cent of demand, according to Mr. Bui Hoang Mai, Head of the Industrial Park Management Board of Bac Ninh province. Businesses are not interested in investing in utilities for industrial parks, because of low profits and the long return on investment period.

The National Assembly Standing Committee approved the establishment of Tu Son city in northern Bac Ninh province on September 22. The current Tu Son town holds significant potential and advantages in terms of traffic networks, geographic location, history, culture, and tourism.
